I was starting to get the weathered feeling after going out, then I discovered milk-thistle extract. There’s no hard evidence to support its use. But having often had hangovers, I’m pretty sure not having them isn’t due to a placebo effect. An Ibuprofen too. Ever since I started that regimen, no more hangovers, no matter how much I drink.

Sadly I am beginning to find that my body is slightly less forgiving of the amount of wine and cigarettes I consume on a good night out; last night being a case in point! (Ever so slightly fragile today).
Still, I also have longevity in my family tree so I am hoping to live long and live up to the epitaph you suggested!
I am not a big fan of small talk either and tend to find I get more “intellectual” the more I drink.
Also, hip hop/rap is about the only kind of music I just don’t get. Aggressive repetitive drivel in my opinion. ;-)

We have the same right wingers who oppose gay marriage. We have the anti-gay groups American Family Association and National Organization for Marriage (barf, gag.) They were calling for people to dump their Starbuck’s stock because Starbucks backed a bill that supports gay marriage.

We are slowly chipping away at it, and gay marriage is now legal in several states. It needs to 100%. We’re supposed to be the bastion of freedom and equality. I don’t see how we can claim that when an entire section of our population doesn’t have the same basic human rights others do. It’s bullshit.
