On the 23rd of the coming month I’ll be 35. I’ve been saying I’m in my early thirties for the past few years, but from next month onwards, I can’t say it any more… I plan to take as many pictures (of myself) as possible in the next few weeks which I’ll still be able to label “early 30′s”

Aw, you’re still but a child in the big scheme of things.
I’m just glad that I’ll NEVER be as old as you are!
You and me both. (You’re actually a week younger than I am.)
Hurrayyyyyyyyyyyy! A week. I’ll take what I can get.
Ahy pero que chulo eres!!!!!
Age is just a number. Enjoy the moments.
Oh you old people… xD
As a newcomer to your blog, I am interested in the opinion of someone with your world view as to why age should be such an emotionally charged matter… if you’ll indulge me…
It was tongue in cheek. I don’t mind that my hair is rapidly going grey. For me it’s just a matter of ‘time left’. I see birthdays as a countdown, of sorts.
And here I am, a year younger than you, and I’ve been calling myself mid-30s for months. I’m happy to have arrived at a point where I can be vague about my age, even to myself, because it’s been sixteen years since I’ve been able to keep it straight in my own mind. I thought I was twenty-three for five years (I started being 23 a year early, then held on for far too long). When people ask my age, I either have to think hard before answering or apologize and change the answer a few times until I hit on the right number. It’s just not a number that communicates very much information about me.
Right up until the day you turn 40 you can reply “In my thirties” with a clear conscience.
Happy Birthday. Well, I am one up on you though. I’ll be 40 in August… so I will no longer be in my 30′s.
How does that feel?
Baby, (if I may call you that) you look so happy and handsome – felicitations birthday boy (on March 23!)
‘Baby’ is more than welcomed
Since 50 is the new 30, that makes you only 15. You’re still a teen!
