The Silver Lining: A Deluge of Exceptional Writing
by pinkagendist
Today it continued. Fortunately. At least all of us who live in Spain can put the shame of our politicians aside for a moment and enjoy the biting commentary of our academics. El País and El Mundo outdid themselves again. They pulled no punches. The best of the day are José Maria Izquierdo with this, and Manuel Jabois with this. Not far behind is an anonymous editorial called ‘Corleone pays for the party‘.
Hurrah for the internet age. An age where po-faced denials are just not enough any more. An age where attempts at censorship are useless.

Totally off subject, but did you see where Matt Moore, the “ex-gay” Christian, was discovered to have a profile on Grindr?
He admits it was him, and that he was being disobedient to Christ, but will be forgiven and he won’t ever do it again. He promises. (At least, not in a way he can get caught.)

What are your thoughts?
That’s H-I-L-A-R-I-O-U-S
I hadn’t seen it!!! Thanks for the tip LOL
I laughed my ass off. I hate to say it, but he really deserves to be mocked.
He has made who knows how many gays feel bad about themselves, telling them they will burn in hell. It’s sickening.
Moore is especially damaging to young gays who are questioning themselves, where they fit in, etc. They don’t need to hear his vile nonsense. They get enough shit already from unsupportive parents and abusive classmates. They need support. They need to hear, “It’s OKAY to be GAY!”
Young gays need to be reassured that being gay is a natural part of the human sexuality spectrum, and that there’s nothing to cure or treat. There’s nothing wrong with being gay.
